Proctor, 66, Port Charlotte, died May 19, 2000. She was born July 22, 1933, in Johnston County, N.C., and came to Port Charlotte 30 years ago from Richmond, Va. She was a caregiver and a member of First Baptist Church of Charlotte Harbor. She bowled on the Johnson Wholesale Bowling League. She was a member of Elks Lodge 2153 and Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 110. Survivors include two brothers, James Holland of Lucama, N.C., and Leon Holland of Selma, N.C.; and three sisters, Ruth White of Hyattsville, Md., Vara Bottoms of Richmond and Yvonne Tedder of Kenly, N.C. The service will be at 4 p.m. today at Paul Schelm Feuneral Home.
