I recently requested some court record films (Wardens of the Poor in Guilford Co., NC) through my inter-library loan department at my local library. My library now reports that the NC state record films are not available through inter-library loan. The NC state archives will only do a search for an individual surname in some of their records (not court records). Has anyone had any success in obtaining films of court records from NC archives? I have already talked with my local LDS center and they have not acquired copies of these films for the Wardens of the Poor. Is it possible tha the NC state archives might loan the film to my local genealogy society through inter-library loan?
