For some time, I've been trying to research my Davis/Womack relatives in Johnston County with only some luck. When I get to the early 1800's, I just get stuck. So I'd like to know how many Davis Families lived in JC from 1800 to 1850? I know my super great grandfather Ollin Davis is in the 1870 Census along with his fiancee. But he's living with non-relatives in the town he was born in. So if anyone knows the answer to my questions, please let me know...
