I would guess he was a younger brother or first cousin of James W. Lee. If the W. stood for William--note that Boykin's older brother and father were named William Lee. Boykin moved throughout his life. He moved to Alabama as a young man, got married, and later moved his young family to Arkansas where he raised his family of eleven children. After the age of 70, he moved to Wise County in Texas, where some of his children had moved. Boykin died around 1886. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
