Dear John, Your posting on STRICKLANDs on the queries forum expressed an interest in the Strickland family. This may not be your direct line, but a SOLOMON STRICKLAND married AMY PACE (dtr of JOHN PACE + SARAH BURGE) in Edgecomb Co., NC in the late 1700s. They later moved to GA, I believe. Some of the family probably remained in the area of Edgecomb and I know some of the Pace group went to Johnston Co., NC.
