How would I find out the location of property owned by ALSEY/ALSA PACE (b.abt. 1785)? In the 1850 census the family was shown as living in the 11th District, Earps Borough in Johnston Co., NC. and the value of his property was shown as $50. By the 1860 census the property had jumped in value to about $3000 (I seem to remember something about O'Neal Township as to the location in 1860, and I don't know if that is the same as Earps Borough). As far as I can tell, the Johnston Co. Genealogy Society hasn't published a deed abstract book. In 1860, these are the neighbors but I can't be sure of my spelling as the film was nearly illegible in places. Neighbors: James Bunson? Matt HALL - 45 Cinthia - 45 E.
