Can anyone tell me what "BLW" means in the notes "pension BLW app in 2/2/1856 Johnston Co. It may be so obvious to someone, but puzzles me. The phrase is in reference to information about a Polly Thompson Phillips, widow of John Phillips who was in the Revolutionary War and who died 11/12/1839 in Johnston County. Thanks, Kathy
