My grandfather is Newitt Edward Jones that married Patsy Amelia Barbour. (The Barbours I have covered) His parents were Newitt Johnnie Jones and Mattie Elizabeth Ryals. Newitt's parents were David Edward and Alma Windham Jones. Does anyone have any info on these people? I know that my grandfather was born in Johnston County and I was told that his mother, Mattie Ryals, lived in the same house her whole life and it was also in Johnston County.
