Alonzo was the father of Ira Elton Garner as I have it. Ira Garner was also married to Mamie Dimple Brown b. 24 Aug 1915 d. 03 Feb 1990 who is buried in another Garner cemetery. I can get you pictures of the grave sites if you would like. Ira and Mamie Brown had two children that I know of so far. My father Richard Elton Garner Sr. b. 01 Jun 1934 d. 28 Aug 2000 and "Bobby" Garner (still living in Selma, NC). Richard had two wives. My mother, Pauline (no middle name) Keene b. 09 Jun 1936 d. 19 Sep 1990 was Richard's Sr.'s second wife. Richard Sr. and Pauline Keene had Brenda Garner, Infant Garner b 26 Jun 1971 d. 26 Jun 1971, and Richard Elton Garner, Jr. (ME) b. 6 Nov 1978. There is a bit of a twist here. Pauline Keene first married my fathers brother, Bobby Garner, and had one child Darlene Keene b 04 Aug 1964. I should also mention that Richard Elton Garner Sr. had children by his first ! wife as well. His first wife was Geneva. Geneva and Richard had Judy Ann Garner, Barbara Jean Garner, Jerry Garner, Ricky Elton Garner. I have some questions!!! Who do you have as Pauline Butt and Ira's children. I was young but I remember the farm by close to the Smithfield prison. I was there the weekend Ira passed away. My sister has some pictures you may like to get copies of. I would love any pictures you may have as well. Any info you have on Lillie Jane Sauls parents, G parents, etc. would help. Also, I have just started with Wesley Bridgers Garner and Lucy O. House so any info would be nice. I think Wesley's parents were Eli Garner and Dicy Yelvington but I may be wrong. I have Lucy O. House's parents as Ridley Rasberry House & Minerva Jane Maynor. I need your help filling in the info around then to continue down the line if you can help. Do you have a family tree posted on the web? Who were your parents/grandparents?
