I'm looking for Samuel Bunn, born about 1850, son of Applewhite Bunn and his wife, Mary Polly Pearce. Samuel is listed in several online genealogies as dying in 1871, but I've never seen a source for this. I can't find him in the 1870 census, either. Someone steered me to the 1870 Oktibbeha Co., MS census, but that Samuel Bunn is too old (age 57 in 1870). I'm interested because Mary Pearce was the sister of my great-grandfather John Ruffin Pearce, and I"m trying to get the family's "loose ends" tied up. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.
