Elizabeth Ross and perhaps others published a book with all of the Johnston Co NC Militia Records abstracted and indexed. If it is not online, it is available for purchase. I am not at home so I cannot give exact information. Captain Thomas Lee was definitely in the Militia and maybe the Continental Line, I forget. He later led a party to survey land in what is now TN that was given to veterans of the Continental Line. I have a fair amount on him but it is not easily accessible. He married a daughter of Richard Ingram, who was himself a Patriot. She had first married a Rains. She and Capt Thomas Lee had a bunch of children and packed them up and moved to TN. Capt Thomas Lee's brother, John Lee, apparently also moved with them to TN. John and his wife also had a bunch of children.
