Dear Franklin, In re-reading your note. Can we learn more from you re: Richard Ingram. I did not have any info on him. I am pleased to report I was able to find a source for purchase of the NC Militia books (and more) mentioned lately. If it is not online, it is available for purchase. I am not at home so I cannot give exact information. Captain Thomas Lee was definitely in the Militia and maybe the Continental Line, I forget. He later led a party to survey land in what is now TN that was given to veterans of the Continental Line. I have a fair amount on him but it is not easily accessible. He married a daughter of Richard Ingram, who was himself a Patriot. She had first married a Rains. She and Capt Thomas Lee had a bunch of children and packed them up and moved to TN. Capt Thomas Lee's brother, John Lee, apparently also moved with them to TN. John and his wife also had a bunch of children. Thanks in advance, SharonBoyerBates@aol.com!
Hope it's o.k. for me to jump in...I have a Thomas Lee born 1729, died 1816, who married first Unknown, second, Mary Bryan and third, Mary Ingram. I have seven children for Mary Ingram Lee. All of Johnston County, N.C. Could this be the same Thomas Lee? Would like to know about these people. Franklin, it's really great to see your name! It has been a long time.
