The earliest record concerning him located thus far is in a Johnston County deed book in which we find land transactions between Robert Orr and Reuben Hunter. Robert Orr sold Reuben Hunter a plot of land on 10 November 1761 which had been earlier granted to Robert Orr by the province of NC. Reuben Hunter later sold to Robert Orr land on the 27th March 1765. That is the sum total of my knowledge of him. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
