Joel Johnson's lands were primarily located on Cove and Bear (Bare)Branches on the North side of Middle Creek. The land conveyed to Blunt was on Jonas' branch. All of these branches were located in present day Cleveland Township, Johnston County. They are south of Cleveland Road (SR 1010), south and east of Cornwallis Road, and south and west of McLemore Road. There is even today a subdivision street called Blount Creek Estate off McLemore Road. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
