My great-great grandparents were W.G. and Patience Mitchell. Their son was Allen Walter Mitchell---he married Hattie Lee Nora(?)Elmore on 9/4/1907 at Pickney Church. Allen Walter Mitchell was born 2/1/1881 and died 10/17/29. Hattie Lee Nora Elmore was born 11/14/1884 and died 10/13/39 They had 2 sons(that I know about) and one daughter--my grandmother. Their names were Joseph Malcom, Harvey Floyd and Ola Ethel. I am trying to find info to verify possible Native American ancestry on the Elmore side and I need more info on the Mitchell family to start. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated.
