NC Queries Forum Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/NC/Johnston/12173 Surname: Wall, Ballance, Hinnant ------------------------- I show the parents of Jarritt Banks Wall are William Wall and Betsa (one source showed Houtershedt and other showed Perry) they had 7 Children...also Jarritt had two children in the civil war...William H and Bennett both served in Co C 24th Reg NCST William was captured Apr 1,1865 and Bennett captured Apr 2,1865...I am still working on the Wall family...My great grandmother was Minnie Lee Wall Rogers...she past away in 1983...she was daughter of Porter P Wall and Mary Anne Ballance...Porter died when she was small and Mary Anne Ballance Wall was found died in a barn in 1914 so she didn't know her parents very well...all the children underage where separated...and grew up in different homes...on Wilson county web site I have posted Minnie Lee Wall and Owen Roy Rogers married picture 1918 and also Mary Anne Ballance pic...I show the Wall coming from Richmond County and have always heard had some Indian in them...just what I have heard....still trying to prove keep me posted pls...
