I have a excerpt from a Court record showing that on Nov. 16, 1769, Kirby (Kirbee) Sanders, planter to William Sanders, planter both of Bute Co. for 20 pds procl money for 150 acres in Bute Co. on the south side of Crooked Creek to Kirby Sanders along Spring Branch, adjoining William Freeman & John Sanders. Wit: Jacob Hartsfield, and John Sanders. Proved by John Sanders. Bute August court, 1770. Warren Co. NC Records, Vol 11. I would be very much interested in hearing from anyone that might know of these Sanders men, as my Sanders lived on the south side of Crooked Creek, Bute County, NC. James Sanders b. abt 1775 >Thomas Sanders b. abt. 1750 > John Sanders b abt. 1730 and I think that William Sanders was b. abt 1710, Any information will be appreciated.
