His father was Samuel Pool, born 1780-1790, who we think was from NC or SC. He was married to Lucretia whose maiden name I don't know. They migrated to SE Georgia, Early Co., between 1825 and 1827 and he died there in 1839. John C. lived in SW Alabama for several years. We have been unable to find a connection to North Carolina.
