I have a Johnston County Barber in my line who served in the 24th NC Infantry Regiment (Company I, Smithfield Light Infantry) during the Civil War (Ransom's Brigade). I seek to correspond with fellow Barber and 24th NC researchers. I esp. seek families that have extant Civil War diaries and letters from the 24th. Thanks.
