I have a list of family names of Johnston co,I'd like some help with. But this is also shared info for the ones looking for these surnames. . The Turley family I am hitting a brick wall . I don't know anything about Richard and where he came from or his parents, I do have a handed down story but I am not sure its factual. I would like to try and find info on this family if possible. It is possible he came from Ireland( the part of the story he was kidnapped from there and was in VA for a time) And the children out of wedlock? what about these, isn't commonlaw in those times? I have just started researching these names and I need help with them. I have gotten as far back as John Calvin Jones married to Penny Turley about mid to late 1800's Parrish I have a James Atlas Parrish married to Etta Jones (d/o the above names) late 1800's to early 1900. I would like to find James family. Page , I have a Herbert(Hubert?) Braxton Page married to a Challie Baker early 1900's. they had 3 children; Nettie b 1914, Hettie b 1917, Garland Nathan b 1920 Nettie Married a James Jackson Sanderford about 1924 (they moved to Wake co,NC) Hettie married a Eugene Honneycutt They moved to Willow Springs, NC (Harnet co) Garland Nathan Page , I don't know anything about him.
