My great, great, great grandmother was Eliza Jane Crumpley. She married Benjamin Franklin Gainer on Dec 31,1844 in Sumner Co. TN. Her death certificate states her father was Crumpley. They came to MO when John Wesley and Olive Crumpley did. She name her daughter Martha Olive and when her husband died she had William P. Crumpley. John Wesley Jr. and John O'Neal interceded when Wm P. did not do his job as well as they thought he should. So of course I think she is another daughter of John Wesley and Olive. But no one has her listed. The Elizabeth Crumpley that is listed also is in Mo and married Daniel Gray. I have found many records of her but she is not the same person. Guess my question is, do you have any info on Asa Crumpler/Crumpley to see if maybe he is her father? Did Asa come to MO also? If you can help me I'd appreciate it very much. Thanks for all the info you sent, I will have to try and figure out the format it is in I am not famili! ar with it. But thanks so much.
