He was married to a Rebecca Howell and they had 9 children, one who was my great grandfather Edmond Britt who moved to Fayetteville where he ran a grocery store and also was the Police Chief for a short while (around 1909?). Blackmon's parents were Thomas Britt and Martha King Britt. Three of Blackmon's daughters married 3 King brothers around Grantham (Wayne County NC). Does anyone know where Blackmon and Rebecca are buried or where other descendents of Blackman's children may be?
