Wow, what 10 cousins, 2 chain saws and a bit of hired help can do in 3 hours! We hauled off 2 dump trucks loads! Yes, 2! We have totally clean up the Harrison - Poole Cemetery once again. All the scrub and thorns have been cut down, the nice dogwoods, pines and ceders trimmed. Over all the plots have been groomed and the next step will be to spray the weeds and poison oak/ivy. Sonny Johnson, a GGGgrand son of John Rufus & Martha Harrison plans to do that next month. Mr. Dwayne Poole thinks he may have found one or two more graves, unmarked of course on the back side in the line of Icky Worth Harrison's grave. Future Projects: A FENCE and a SIGN. Something simple but nice. Ideas????
