I am looking for information on William Samuel "Sam" AUSTIN b. between 1859-1864 in Wake or Johnston, Co. I know that he is listed in the 1880 Census for the Panther Branch Twp., Wake Co., NC as living with sister, Ardephia (?? the spelling is hard to read) AUSTIN & grandmother, Betsey BELL. Sam BAIRD married Sophronia "Phrony" MYATT on 16 Feb, 1883 in Wake Co., NC. She is the daughter of John Alvin MYATT & Penelope Harriett "Penny" GODWIN. Sam & Phrony had at least 11 children. I have hit a wall trying to find out who his father is. I have no clue other than the last name AUSTIN. I have found a marriage bond for a Gabriel AUSTIN & Hepsey REEVES in Wake Co., NC dated 24 Oct 1855 (marriage date.) Any info is greatly appreciated! Thanks. Tiffany
