Freda, I do not believe that your William Ingram who married first Bethany Lee and second Nancy Lee Johnson had a son named Shadrack. The Shadrack Ingram who was the son of William Ingram, Testator of 1771, was the grandson of John Lee Esq who signed his Will in 1766. (Researchers who are devoted to documenting the multitude of John Lee Esq's descendants refer to him simply as JLX.) William Ingram, Testator of 1771, married first a daughter of JLX (John Lee, Esq.--Will 1766) and had Shadrack and probably Elizabeth Ingram. He married second Elizabeth (unknown last name) and had Joseph, Mary (Polly) and Hester. JLX also had a grandson named John Lee, Sr who signed his Will in 1835. He was the father of Bethany Lee Ingram. JLX also had a grandson named Jeremiah Lee who signed his Will in 1823. He was the father of Nancy Lee Johnson Ingram. Therefore, John Lee, Sr (Will 1835), Jeremiah Lee (Will 1823) and Shadrack Ingram (Will 1827) were all grandsons of JLX (John Lee, Esq.--Will 1766). However, you descend from Joseph Ingram (the half-brother of Shadrack Ingram) whose son, William Ingram (1790-1860), married two Lee cousins who were both great granddaughters of JLX (John Lee, Esq.--Will 1766). I have proven that Nancy Lee Johnson did indeed marry William Ingram (1790-1860) but I have only circumstantial evidence that William Ingram (1790-1860) married Bethany Lee. Bethany Lee definitely married an Ingram according to her father's Will. Her father was John Lee, Sr. (Will 1835). Do you have any proof that Bethany Lee did indeed marry William Ingram (1790-1860) as opposed to some other Ingram fellow? Nancy Lee Johnson (married first to Littleton Johnson) definitely married an Ingram according to her father's Will. Her father was Jeremiah Lee (Will 13 Apr 1823). The proof that she married William Ingram is a marriage bond dated 20 Jan 1823. The Marriage Bond and the Will are consistent and, I think, together provide proof of the tree. These are the relevant Lee descendancy charts: (1) JLX to Edward Lee to Jeremiah Lee to Nancy Lee who married first Littleton Johnson and then William Ingram. (Proven with wills of JLX (1766), Edward Lee (1775), and Jeremiah Lee (1823) and two marriage bonds for Nancy Lee and Nancy Johnson.) (2) JLX to Edward Lee to John Lee, Sr. to Bethany Lee who married William Ingram. (Proven with wills of JLX (1766), Edward Lee (1775) and John Lee, Sr. (1835), but I do not have actual proof of the William Ingram to Bethany Lee marriage.) (3) JLX to unknown Lee (married William Ingram, Testator of 1771) to Shadrack Ingram. (Proven with the wills of JLX (1766) and William Ingram (1771.))
