NC as he lived in both counties I think. I know his son did , nothing confirmed but maybe a son Joseph Sasser , Howell Sasser both born in begining of 1800's (wayne co.?),their children born starting 1839.. Sorry but lot's of ? in the Sasser lineage.. Gail Lewis David b. 1847 then Howell the father, then Joseph Sasser grandfather.
