This JESSE (Sr.) was obviously the JESSE LEE they meant. I was trying to clear this up on another list. I was in such a hurry I eliminated the date. (I know better-- but obviously wasn't thinking correctly). Sorry it has taken me so long to answer this- but am in the middle of new construction on the house- and was 349 emails behind! Has anyone verified who the mother of JESSE LEE Sr. (b. 1849) mother was. I thought it was Isabella Tart, but have seen it different ways in family histories.
