    3. I found this in some papers that I had collected, if some of you subscribers could give me your opinion it would be appreciated. I believe this to be William Toler spelling is Taller. Could I assume this. If correct then Bath Co was Eastern NC then changed to Craven which then changed to Johnston then Dobbs, then Wayne Co NC. I believe this to be the earliest Toler ancestor in my line. This would prove that a William Toler was there before 1754. This may be a different William Toler as the date of 1714 my ancestor William Toler died about 1784 which would make him 71 years old by the date but then these are two different William Toler's.
