He married Elizabeth Woodall on 2-20-1852. Their children were Harriet Allen(born 1855, married Foster Dowdy), John B. Allen(born 1857, married Nancy ?), Josephus Allen(born 1861, married Florence ?), Merritt Andrew Allen(born 1867, married Rhoda ?), and MacDaniel Allen(born 2-08-1870, married Mazana Helen Dunn. I am especially interested in the names of James Greene Allen's parents. I think his mother was named Nancy. If anyone has information on any of these people , please respond.
