On my free trial on www.Ancestry.com, I just found an Alsa/Alsey PACE on the War of 1812 Muster Rolls but he served in Coffee's Regiment, Cav., W. Tennessee Vols. Can anyone tell me how to research the War of 1812 when I don't know the county in TN. He would later settle in Johnston Co., NC, and his family would be in Guilford Co., NC, and later in Rowan Co., NC. I searched the USGenWeb.com site for Tenn. but could find no entry for the musters of the War of 1812.
