We are very sorry that you were inconvenienced by the broken link to the North Carolina Militia. We were in the middle of changing those links about the time you signed the guestbook, and they should all be functioning now. The various North Carolina regiments had all been combined on a single page, and we recently split them out onto individual pages, but had not finished changing all the links as of yesterday. You will now find the Regimental History of the North Carolina Militia at http://www.royalprovincial.com/military/rhist/ncmil/ncmillist.htm We did some looking through our sources here, but are sorry to say that we were not able to find anything on your John Pace. If you have not already done so, you might consider consulting the books by Dr. Bobby Gilmore Moss, which are available for sale at Scotia Press (http://jrshelby.com/scotia/) and would probably be available in some of the larger libraries near you as well. In addition, Dr. Moss' papers have been donated to the Historical Center of York County, South Carolina and might prove a worthwhile source of information for you. You can contact the archivist for the Historical Center, Beth Carter, at becarter@InfoAve.Net. We apologize again for the inconvenience of the broken links. -- Best regards, Todd Braisted & Nan Cole The On-Line Institute for Advanced Loyalist Studies http://www.royalprovincial.com -- ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
