NC Revolutionary War Soldiers list who was in NC Line and died 1783L. We too have many Green Rogers later on in Carroll Co. TN and Boone Co. AR who trace back to the Rogers family in Anson, and Montgomery Co's in NC and may have come from the Johnston Co. NC area during the Rev. War. period. Our Rogers in Anson & Montgomery, and Stanley Co's NC were: James Rogers, Sr. James Rogers, Jr. William Rogers b. 1770 NC ( probably in Montgomery ) Other Rogers known in that Anson area in the 1770-1800 era were: Benjamin, Philip, Thomas, John, & etc. If any of the Johnston Co.
