Who was he and is there information on his family who may have been related to the Thompsons of Wayne County. In William Tarlton-Talton d. 1791 JoCo.NC he list a daughter who married a Tomson-Thompson and I think she may have named a son Tarlton or Talton Thompson for her maiden name.
