in response to the obit that pearl weaver sent to the list, and specifically the birthplace and parents, obits are such a great source of information. would it be possible to just list the names of the people who have died in Johnston County on a regular basis and indicate which newspaper we could check on-line for details? then other members could make note of these and send the brief info when they see one in their own newspapers and indicate which newspaper to go to. it would be helpful to include the newspaper's e-mail address. and depending on how much into your local paper you are, you can also pick up similar information from biographical articles on someone from johnston county or with JOCO ties. somebody may be able to contact a family member before they die! life is good... but pine pollen sucks annie
