I have many Green's in our Rogers line in Anson, Montgomery, and Stanly Co's NC who later on all moved into Carroll Co. TN, then into Boone Co. AR. Most trace back to the Anson NC area in the 1774 era, and may have been in Johnston Co. NC before that time. The Speights, Greens, Rowlands, Rogers, Edwards, McMakins, McGregors, Liles, Lipe, Cox, Cooper, and others are all familiar names in Anson, Montgomery, or Stanly who all moved to Carroll Co.
