I am seeking information on Elijah Phillips. Parents: Fort T. Phillips and Elizabeth Rains Phillips. Elijah was born in 1855 in or around Johnston and Wayne County, probably at Boon Hill. He is shown with his family at Boon Hill on the 1860 Census Records. I believe his father was killed in or died shortly after the Civil War. After the war, the widow, Elizabeth, moved with some of her children to the area around Sullivan, Illinois. I believe the connection to that area may have come from Fort T. Phillips, in that his mother Mary Polly Thomson Phillips was from Shelby County, Illinois. Anyone having information on Elijah Phillips, please contact me. Thank you so much. Kathy Davis
