Reason I ask, is because many of us off of Benjamin Moore can not find any relatives, siblings, parents, cousins etc. It's like he just appeared out of nowhere. I'm not discrediting what you believe, I just want to know if there is any proof out there that you have that we can put with our Benjamin. I also thought you said they (Martha and Haywood's family that lived next to her) were living in Upper Boon Hill? That would be present day Selma/Pine Level correct? Now you say Ingram's - which is Four Oaks.?? It's a little confusing. I wish you'd email me more so it would start to make sense. ChristieMoore33@nc.rr.com Thanks! Susan and Benjamin sold land to Hardy Adams who was also their neighbor - married to an Elizabeth. On her son's, Haywood Moore's death certificate it lists her name as Mary. Supplied by LostCousins What did your ancestors have for breakfast? My ancestors generally had fewer sons than daughters, and recently published research suggests that this may have been a result of their diet. The researchers studied the eating habits of 740 mothers who were expecting their first child, and discovered that those with a higher energy intake (especially breakfast cereals) were 20% more likely to give birth to sons than those with a lower intake. The findings may help explain the falling birth-rate of boys in industrialized countries, including the UK and US. http://www.exeter.ac.uk/news/newsmothersdiet.shtml Betty Pace ____________________________________________________________ Huge inventory of used cars and trucks. My Haywood was married to Dorcas Green and had several children with her. After she died in 1915, he lived with his son Lewis until he died in 1920. I am Lonnie Calvin Moore's granddaughter. He was married to Addie Winifred Pollard and they had 6 children. My father, the youngest, came along after they thought they were finished having children...when they were 44 & 52 years old. Calvin or L.C. (as he was called) was the son of John Eldridge Moore and Olphelia Alberta Strickland. John's parents were Haywood Moore & Dorcas Green. "Bertie's" parents were Henry Wright Strickland and Annie Blackman. Haywood's parents were Benjamin Moore and Susan Adams. I can keep going, but I think this answers your question.
