My name is Paula. I would like to know if you have a male descendant of this Frederick Wall line who would participate in the DNA project. Do you know any lines descending from Tempy's brothers? we have a lot fo research on the Wake County Walls, this was originally Johnston County, NC. The Walls we know were in Northampton and Edgecombe county before Wake county NC. Before Northampton county NC,the line we studied was in Surry county VA, (and neighboring counties). Where did Tempy live after Wake county NC? Paula Fabionar pfabionar@yahoo.com I will check my notes for this Frederick Wall. I suspect that they were probably buried in a family cemetery somewhere close by. There may still be no identifiable markers, however. Presumably, based on what you found on their death certificates, the land was owned by John William Lassiter. I will try to do some research and see if I can determine exactly where John William and Elizabeth Frances (Hardee) Lassiter lived. I suspect either on Lassiter Road or King Mill Road. If so, why doesn't the death certificates state so? Haywood's brother Lovett Eldridge Moore, his wife, a son, daughter in law and grandson are all buried at Clement and the death certificates indicate Clement Church Cemetery as burial site. You also stated Haywood & Dorcas lived two houses away from the James Lassiter. I know where that house is today. It's very beautiful. Do you know if Haywood & Dorcas were before the house on Lassiter Road (Four Oaks side of House)or past the intersection of King Mill & Lassiter Road - more towards Hickory Grove Church? 3. p.s. the Boykin name is familiar from Chanbers Co, AL, as well .. i'm not familiar with any connections, but several families seem to have migrated together into Hancock Co, GA, in 1800, and on west along Old Federal Road into Jones and Troup Co, GA, before settling in Chambers and Macon Co (old Ft. Decatur area), AL .. by 1860 these families had settled around  Montgomery, AL, and in Texas .. after the war most moved on to the Smith and Anderson Co areas in upper east Texas .. the family home c. 1875-1890's was near old Fosterville in Anderson Co, TX, in a close knit cluster of Blount, Padgett, Pruitt, Baker, and Milner families .. any of that ring any bells, Mr. Foster? anyone? ----- Original Message ---- From: Stephanie Ray <sray@netnuevo.com> To: NCJOHNST-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, July 21, 2008 5:30:49 PM Subject: Re: [NCJOHNST] Lee families of Johnston Co., NC>Chambers Co., AL Hello: I am a descendant of Captain Thomas Lee of Johnston County, NC and Hawkins County, TN.
