There are over 8,000 Bride and 8,000 Groom microfilm pages that list all marriage bonds for all counties of NC. I will add new surnames weekly so please don't get discouraged if you do not see the surname you are looking for. I have discovered that once you obtain the Index page that you are looking for it is easier to contact the NC Archives and get a copy of the original Marriage Bond. If you would like a specific Surname added to the page you may send me an e-mail and I will put that name on my list to add ASAP. All I ask is that you send one e-mail per Surname. You may send as many Surnames as you like, but please do so separately so that I may easily alphabetize my list that I take with me. In the Subject area put MB of NC (this will get my attention) In the body of the e-mail type the surname you would like added in ALL CAPS. Best of Luck to you all in your search for your ancestors. For those interested in info on the Brown/Hatcher connections, you will find what info I have at our Hatcher site at http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~nhatcher/faq.htm (Descendants of Wm) or you can find it at http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/~wmhatch1 I am also interested in knowing more on the Robert Hatcher who md Lucy Brannan/Brannon. Any age/date would be most helpful, as he might be on our file minus a spouse. I am not a member of this list, but any msg containing Hatcher will automatically be sent to me. Cheers, Nel nelhatch@rapidnet.com

    1. [NCJOHNST] Boyett/Boyette & Boswell - NC Cemetery Information
    2. Jim Boyette
    3. Hi Yvonne, The graveyard record from my trip to the Kenly, NC area is listed below. I've also copied the Johnston & Wilson NC. County sites in response to several requests from group members. I hope the information helps to fill in a few blanks in your records. I agree that we must be distant cousins by a linkage somewhere in the Kenly area Boyett/Boyette line. My GGF (George Boyett) b. abt 1848 and GGM Linsey Ann Boswell are listed as living in the Black Creek, NC area on My GF's (Jessie Jackson Boyette) death certificate. The Black Creek area is just a few miles north of Kenly. Best regards, Jim ########################################################### Boyette and Related Family Members Buried in or near Kenly, North Carolina And Boswell Family members buried between Kenly and Wilson, NC.
