Thomas Eatman (1697-1770) born in York Virginia came to Edgecombe County, NC. He had several sons, Thomas, John, Noel, that mitrated to different counties in NC. My GGF (George Boyett) b. abt 1848 and GGM Linsey Ann Boswell are listed as living in the Black Creek, NC area on My GF's (Jessie Jackson Boyette) death certificate. The Black Creek area is just a few miles north of Kenly.
