Would anyone be willing to do a lookup? I am seeking information on a slave named Primus Millender born about 1785-1790 in SC. I have reason to believe he was owned by a Millender in or around the Charleston, SC area. I would like to know if the Millender mentioned in The Johnston Co., NC Genealogical Society Newsletter, Vol 4, Issue 2, June 1978 might have a connection with Primus or the Charleston, SC area. Old Primus late in life claimed to have been a part of the Revolutionary War (riding with Gen. Francis Marion) although the dates don't track. According to the census, his parents were born in Africa. Any help will be appreciated, Teresa
