For Group and Archives, Cathy transcribed 6 Mar 1999 Cathy Farris this is a fische from FHC 6046798 on Northampton County Cousins...a periodical that was published 1973, in North Carolina by Mrs.Taney BRAZEAL, editor, Route 2 Box 50 Fairhope, AL 36532. This fische seems to contain only a few of the publications and further investigation will be needed to hunt for the others ones. I suspect there may be some valuable info contained in them. Maybe there is a Northampton Gen Soc that knows more about this publication. In the search for more on the BRYANTS, Northampton County line may be of interest to this family name, by showing other records available. Even tho they may not have moved their location ...the county name may have changed and therefore whatever can be found from these other counties during the right timeframe may be of big help. She used various records in her publication, I will not try to enter all of them, just some that look like they may benefit. From her notes for Oct 1973 #26 she says: (sometimes I abbreviate-cathy) "It is good to be back into print again. I appreciate the many nice letters I have l rec during the suspended pub of "Cousins". I hope that we can go forward now together for many uninterrupted years. During our absence as a quarterly we issued two new special bulletins and have a third in prep. The are: #12 THE NORTH CAROLINA GAZETTE, Abstracts from issue 1784-17-98, 65pp, inc index $7.00. This newspaper was pub in New Bern NC but the items therein are in no ways limited to that area. Most of these people had lived in NC or had ancestors who lived in the two counties.
