Susan, Sorry to take so long in my reply. My 10 yr old daughter had an accident last week and underwent surgery having three days in the hospital. Things have settled down a bit now so I have time to look at this. I really have no information on Lucy DARDEN. According to my records, she was married to Joseph H. BRYANT (b-abt 1806). Their marriage date shows 5 Sep 1826 in Northampton County. I have no records of children from this marriage or her parents or siblings. As for Joseph, his parents were Allen and Celia BRYANT. They had a child named Whitfield BRYANT who is in my direct line. Allen and Celia had a total of 9 children. Joseph and Whitfield were siblings. If you find that we do have the same Lucy Darden, I would love to hear more. She may not have been a grandmother but a distant aunt. Also, I would love to hear what you have found with the LASSITER surname.
