Dear Listers: I am trying to find a birth certificate for my father : Willie Henry Thompson born: January 9, 1918 mother: Mary Eliza Thompson father: James "Grippey" Thompson He was born in Bertie County but his birth certificate may some how have been filed in Hertford which is where the midwife who delivered him lived at the time. if someone could do a look up for me at the Register of Deeds or give me the address I would appreicate it.
