Does anyone on this list have ancestors who migrated to TN, besides John's Nichols ancestor? Perhaps if we can establish what lines migrated out of Hertford in the early 1800's, we can connect them. They may have intermarried once they arrived in TN, if they travelled there together. Three daughters of Wright Nichols ended up in Crittenden Co., KY, arriving in the late 1830's and later. Two sons, John and Miles were dead before 1844, but may have migrated either to TN or to KY. I've no information on where they lived after 1810, but their father's will of 1844 lists them as being deceased and both having heirs. One son, Lemuel Nichols, and one daughter, Lurenda, remained in Hertford Co. Lurenda married William G. Marsh. They may have lived in the Winton area. Lemuel Nichols lived in St. John's township. Linda
