Anyone have Edward Early information? I've been digging through the 1870 Hertford census for his family and nothing yet. He was born 11 Feb 1862 (from his gravestone), married Martha ODOM of Bertie County. It's possible that he was in Bertie in 1870, but I didn't find him there either, and that census has mostly been transcribed on-line. Also, family members told me he was from Hertford, but they don't know his parents either. His obituary just calls him Ed Early, doesn't name parents. Edward and Martha's daughter married the son of William Judson Williford and Mary Elizbabeth Godwin. Thanks so much for checking - trying to find his parents. Marianne
