If any of you know the family of Frank Elliott Morriss who married Theodosia Ellen Dever, both of whom are buried in the Morris-Speight cemetery in Gates County, I'd like to hear from you. I am wondering if he is related perhaps to the Noah Speight who married Jemima ELLIOTT in Perquimans County about 1814. There are several Speight's buried in that cemetery which leads me to believe that perhaps Frank's lineage converges somewhere with my wife's back to Mordecai Elliott and Leah Smith Elliott, parents of Jemima Elliott who married Noah Speight. My wife descends from Noah and Jemima through their son, William Henry Speight born 1821 who married Margaret Wallace about 1844 in Perquimans County.
