Hi Bobby, Yes, just glancing quickly at it (I'm about to go run an errand), I did see some Rawls on the map. If you could get more specific about name of head of household, location and neighbors' names, I could tell you whether they are on it. Here's how you get a copy of the map: Go to the North Carolina State Archives in Raleigh, NC to the maps/records room and ask them to copy it for you. It cost me about $2, as I recall, and didn't take them very long (about 30-40 min. in between other things). Here's their web site address: http://www.ah.dcr.state.nc.us/sections/archives/arch/default.htm And here's their mailing address, in case you can send them a money order including shipping costs and get them to send it to you (I don't know whether this would work, but it can't hurt to ask). Let me know if it works, if you do try it, please. Mail inquiries may be sent to: North Carolina State Archives Public Services Branch 4614 Mail Service Center Raleigh, N.C. 27699-4614 Physical Address 109 E. Jones St. Raleigh, N.C. 27601 Phone: (919) 733-3952 Fax: (919) 733-1354 E-mail: archives@ncmail.net I hope that helps! Please let me know what comes of your inquiry to them.
