My family can be traced to Herftford Cty, around 1830 and before. They later migrated to Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan. However, I do know some of the families remained in NC. Hi, I am new to this list, and I am searching for my Manley/Manly ancestors. My 5x great grandfather was Joseph Manley who married Francis "Franky" Nickens. They lived in Wilson County, TN in the early 1800s and were orginally from Hertford or Bertie County, NC.
