I would like to know if anyone has any idea why people in Buncombe Co might have gone to Hendersonville to get married in the early 1900's....1918 to be exact. I can understand it if the Henderson Co courthouse was nearer to their home but what about people from Asheville, the Buncombe Co seat? Edie in Atlanta emp4698@aol.com
