Hi, I am new to this list. I was born in Henderson Co., NC as were both of my parents. I have a lot of ancestors in Henderson county and surrounding areas. Here are some of the surnames: King, Stepp, Jones, Pace, Staton, Garren, Shipman, Kuykendall, Case, Lyda, Mills, Carlisle and Robinson. I would like to connect with cousins and exchange data. Of current interest is possible Cherokee ancestery of some of the Paces and Carlisles but of course am interested in all relatives.
